Ever Had One of THOSE DAYS?

You’re not alone.

Come together with people like you to answer questions like these….

*Why did you choose the helping professions?

*What is compassion?
  What does it look like?
How does it feel to the person doing the helping?
How does it feel to the person being helped?

*What is codependence?
  What does it look like?
How does it feel to the person doing the helping?
How does it feel to the person being helped?

*What do you do when you realize you’re helping out of the wrong motives?
*Is there such a thing as “helping out of the wrong motives”?

COMPASSION OR

 CODEPENDENCE:

 IN COMMUNITY

So you’ve decided you want to make a difference in the world, and you’ve decided front line work with people who are in need of material, emotional, spiritual, or physical support is something you feel a desire to do.

Have you ever considered where the desire comes from?

What leads you to care for community members who need assistance?

We can change the world with words like “love” and “freedom.”

We CAN change the world. “Love” and “Freedom” aren’t just words.

Come join us for a five-week journey to look at who we are and what we’re doing to make people’s lives better.

You’re not alone–I’ve felt that way too.

So have others, and we can be here for each other to lighten the load just a little bit.

A private Facebook group will be set up for participants. If you don’t use Facebook, don’t worry. Let me know, and we’ll set up an alternative community.

How much will this cost??

Obviously, some of you who are students, on the front lines, or between jobs will have issues with paying a high course fee. If this is you (or if you have other trouble), please contact me; and we’ll find a way to work it out so that you can pay what you can.

For the rest of you (and we all know who those people might be ;), this course will be $100.

Expect a high level of interaction, but you will be able to access materials on YOUR schedule

for those of you who might be in different time zones or working the dreaded night shift.

This class isn’t to ADD to your burden, but to do just a little bit to lighten that burden.
